Samantha has won 12 Australian Age titles including six in 2006.
Samantha sliced three seconds off her best time to finish second in the 400m IM at the Olympic Trials behind Stephanie Rice. She also recorded a massive PB of 2:07.61 in the 200m butterfly becoming the 4th fastest Australian woman ever behind Schipper, O’Neill and Thomas.
She won two gold, a silver and two bronze at 2006 Oceania Championships.
In 2007, Samantha went from strength to strength, winning silver in 100 & 200m fly and 400m IM and bronze in 200m IM at Jnr Pan Pacs in Maui.
Samantha was a stand-out swimmer at the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic festival, taking away a medal haul of three gold and four silver.
Samantha went on in 2007 to win the 200 & 400m IM and was second in the 200m fly at FINA World Cup in Singapore.
